What an exciting summer it has been! Here is a quick update on some of the things that have been happening over the last few months:
Asa Allen Fischer has arrived!
It was such a joy to finally meet little Asa. He’s officially a “mixed” baby (Caucasian and Asian parents) and we think he is super cute! We can testify that as you walk in faith in God’s plan for your life, He takes care of the important needs that arise. The crib, car seat, stroller, clothing, bottles and much more were all gifts from friends and relatives. There’s nothing better than to be serving God doing what He’s asked you to do. As much as we want to care for the needs of our kids, God wants to take care his kids needs and even more.
China Missions Trips
God loves the orphans! We took a team from Hong Kong and the USA on a trip with us to an incredible orphanage in China. This orphanage only takes special needs children. At first it was hard to overcome communication and relational obstacles, but I soon learned that even special needs children are VERY smart, active and communicative. We had the opportunity to minister to and pray with the special needs children during the week we were there (and some who weren’t able to speak began praying in tongues). Acts 2:17 & 39 came alive: ““‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh…..39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off…”
The highlight mini-movie for this trip will be released very soon!
Created new ministry videos for RHEMA Hong Kong & Mark Hankins Ministries
I was honored to be asked to make a highlight mini-movie for both of these outstanding ministries. They’ve had a tremendous impact on our church here in HK. This summer, about 20 from our leadership just graduated from RHEMA HK and we hosted a week of ministry meetings at our church with Rev. Mark and Trina Hankins here in Hong Kong.
Janis, Asa and I will be making our first trip to the USA since graduating Bible School in 2014. We’ll be in the USA from Oct 17 to Nov 3 itinerating in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida and a few other places. We’re looking forward to seeing some of you again soon when we’re back!
