2024 so far has been full of growth, celebrations, lots of sweet memories, and testimonies of the goodness of our Heavenly Father, yet with a full realization knowing the other part of the world is suffering loss from wars, Christians are being persecuted for their faith, serving as a reminder we do not take freedom and divine protection for granted but live a radical life that is filled with compassion and intentionality in our daily life, to go, to pray and to share the love of God in a world that desperately needs it. . . Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. Ever since I was a little girl I have been obsesse

Ever since I was a little girl I have been obsessed with stars and Northern lights and travel. I wanted to be an astronaut so that I could get closer to heaven. I remember I would drive hours with friends to go to the best spot to just sit and stare at the sky. And always having dreams to see the northern lights and that would make my life complete. Last year we were blessed to go to one of the most beautiful countries and that dream came true. When we saw Aurora Borealis the first night, I literally was speechless and just wanted to cry. We even saw it 5 times out of 6 nights including on the plane as we left. After the surreal and amazing week we had there, I remember I had a God moment. It was a mixture of being extremely grateful for the display God had blessed us with but with such emptiness on the inside. Two things came to my mind, first God truly rewards those who diligently seek Him and He cares every little desires in your heart and He will do anything He can to bless you. Secondly, I repented to the Father, from thinking that things or experiences would be my ultimate happiness. And once again committed completely to pursue Him and his presence in every area of my life because He will be the only one and only source to give me true fulfilment. I felt so set free. As I was reflecting back on the moment I asked Jesus to be my Lord and saviour, He has never stop pursuing me. There were many guaranteed challenges and obstacles but His word and peace will always be the light and stars on the inside and outside. ‘And this, so that I may know Him [experientially, becoming more thoroughly acquainted with Him, understanding the remarkable wonders of His Person more completely] and [in that same way experience] the power of His resurrection [which overflows and is active in believers], and [that I may share] the fellowship of His sufferings, by being continually conformed [inwardly into His likeness even] to His death [dying as He did]; -Philippians 3:10 #norway #aurora #dreamcometrue #godisgood
